Now before we start with the installation lets get some basics right…

The latest N-Gage 2.0 is not yet supported by N73 and hence we are installing an older version and patching it up so that the newer games doesn’t error out asking you to install a newer version on N-Gage.

In order to get the BiNPDA games to work the phone MUST be hacked.
Now don’t be alarmed as it is very easy, simple and safe.

Without this the full version of BiNPDA will not install and error out as corrupted file. The normal trial version games from N-Gage website will work fine though

You would also need PC suite installed in the PC, X-Plore or any other 3rd party file browser installed in the cell.

Make sure that you install all the files in the memory card, especially the N-Gage application

All the files needed to install N-Gage and hack the phone can be downloaded from the share folder along with the full version games.

Lets do the installation in 2 stages…

1. We install the N-Gage application.
2. We hack the phone and install BiNPDA root certificate so that the games would install

Installing N-Gage Application

1. Install the file NGageInstaller.sisx – It would take a while to install and you can OK the error when it says “Symbian OS pips missing”.

2. Install pips_s60_1_2_SS.sis

3. Install ngage_autostart_204.sis

Note :
You will also have 2 text files 20001079.txt and copy.txt. We will get back to this after we have hacked the phone.

Now you have successfully installed the N-Gage application in your N73 !!!

Phone Hack and BiNPDA Root Certificate Installation

1. Install s60_3_0_app_trk_2_7.sisx

2. Connect the phone using the USB cable in PC Suite mode (This is for ppl who have been installing stuff over bluetooth or Mass storage mode so far).

3. After installing this go to your apps folder in the phone and run TRK

4. It will startup in bluetooth mode, cancel it and go to Options —> Settings —> Connection —> USB

5.Once you choose the USB connection you should see Status as “Connected” in TRK.

6.Now run SecMan.exe in your PC. Follow the steps shown in Information and you are all set to rock on…

7. For ppl who missed out the steps shown in Information, Click Next when you come to the “Select Metro TRK com port”. Keep “Find Metro TRK port automatically” checked.

8. Afert you click Next you should see some stuff getting installed. Give it some time as it might take a while to search for the port and install SecMan (Security Manager).

9. After the installation is done go to your phone apps folder, run SecMan, options —> Install root certificate

10. Now do you remember text files we saw a little while ago,

The file 20001079.txt has to be pasted in the location c:\private\10202be9\. The file copy.txt just has the instruction to where the 20001079.txt file is to be pasted, just in case if you missed out to see the location in here…

Since the file has to be pasted in a location in the phone memory C:, the phone has to be hacked first to have access to the private folder in C:. In SecMan select “Turn Plat. Security OFF”. Now use X-plore or any other 3rd party file browser to copy the file 20001079.txt to the specified location.

Turn ON the plat.Security once your are done copying the file. This is very important.Be careful with this, and make sure Platform Security is turned ON when playing N-Gage games.

If you are wondering how to install the games after all the above steps, just copy the .ngage file of any game and paste it in the N-Gage folder in the memory card. The next time when you run the N-Gage application the game will be installed automatically. Just make sure that you install the game in the memory card

After following this guide,you will be able to install ANY Application or Game on your N73(Normal as well as Music Edition)  Mobile Phone

Now Follow–>
1:Open x-plorer provided.Goto options->tools–Config and tick on 1st four options. Goto main page of x-plorer(i mean back) then press Menu Key so that u leave it in background

2:Start HelloCarbide->Options->Menu1. it will say 18 messages. Say YES to all of them. It will crash. That is OK

3:Move installserver.exe to Phone,

4:Switch to X-plorer,Move installserver.exe to c:/sys/Bin

Restart Your Mobile, its compulsory……

After this, just Download any file from this Site or from anyother Site even if it is signed for others, Just download any file and install. It Will have all all its Capabilities!

Salling Clicker is available at a cost of $23.95 , demo version can be downloaded from here. You can find the cracked version of it in various torrent sites. But we suggest you NOT to use pirated version.

Once you get the software, everything else is straight forward.Install it as you would with other softwares..After installation,run the Software from the desktop shortcut or start menu shortcut.

So now, the software for your PC is ready. But we need a software for your mobile.

Its pretty simple, just Select your mobile, example: Nokia N73 from the list of various mobiles in the Salling clicker window (in your PC),click next, save the file on your desktop or anyother place place in your PC. Now transfer that file to your Mobile and install it.

When you have finished the above step, you can see a new icon “Clicker” in the “Applications” menu. You need to TURN ON the bluetooth before you open the Software in your Mobile..

As soon as you open the software in your mobile , it will start detecting your PC (Remember to open Salling Clicker in your PC before this step).

That’s it! Now you have got a Advanced Bluetooth Remote Control in your hand!!

Optional Step:

If you are not satisfied with the number of applications you can control,you don’t have to worry as you can add more applications support EASILY!

Just head over to the Salling Clicker forums and search for the application you want to control. Download the file from there and copy it to your Salling Clicker directory.

Lets get to the point straight!

You have to open a *.jar file for example in WinRar and than open file “manifest.mf” from folder “META-INF”. Than write there this in the end:

First is original resolution of game and the second is the resolution of your phone.”

Open the jar(with winrar)

->open META-INF(directory)
->Open manifest.mf(drag it to your desktop and open it with notepad)-add the two lines Nokia-MIDlet-Original-Display-Size: 176,208 (the original resolution of the game)

Nokia-MIDlet-Target-Display-Size: 240,320 (the resolution of you phone)

->Drag the edited manifest.mf back to your jar(in meta-inf directory)
->Close Winrar
->Send to phone
->Enjoy!
