Use your Mobile as Remote!
Ever wanted to use your Mobile (Tested fully on N73 Normal aswell as Music Edition) as a remote control to control your PC?
In this compact guide, you will learn:
1. Which Software to Use to control PC,
2. How you can control various applications such as Windows Media Player, Itunes etc..
What you need:
1. Any Symbian S60 or Java enabled mobile.
2. Bluetooth Dongle
3. Salling Clicker Software.
When you have all these, then the rest of the process is a cake walk.
There might be many remote control softwares available for mobile, but the software which we are going to use here is the most stable and functional.
Salling Clicker is available at a cost of $23.95 , demo version can be downloaded from here. You can find the cracked version of it in various torrent sites. But we suggest you NOT to use pirated version.
Once you get the software, everything else is straight forward.Install it as you would with other softwares..After installation,run the Software from the desktop shortcut or start menu shortcut.
So now, the software for your PC is ready. But we need a software for your mobile.
Its pretty simple, just Select your mobile, example: Nokia N73 from the list of various mobiles in the Salling clicker window (in your PC),click next, save the file on your desktop or anyother place place in your PC. Now transfer that file to your Mobile and install it.
When you have finished the above step, you can see a new icon “Clicker” in the “Applications” menu. You need to TURN ON the bluetooth before you open the Software in your Mobile..
As soon as you open the software in your mobile , it will start detecting your PC (Remember to open Salling Clicker in your PC before this step).
That’s it! Now you have got a Advanced Bluetooth Remote Control in your hand!!

If you are not satisfied with the number of applications you can control,you don’t have to worry as you can add more applications support EASILY!
Just head over to the Salling Clicker forums and search for the application you want to control. Download the file from there and copy it to your Salling Clicker directory.
